The Maestro of Nightclubs: Club Opera

The Montreal Jazz Festival is a great place to go for jazz, Salem directv, but jazz isn’t all that the festival is about. To the contrary, the Montreal Jazz Festival is so much more than jazz. For many people it is a chance to check out one of Canada’s most popular areas. There club nightlife here is excellent. There is also a certain intoxicating feel for getting to know new people during the festival. People can really meet lots of new faces that have the same common interest in jazz music. This is where all of the love for the concept transmits across a broad audience of spectators. The people that you meet can fall into two different categories. They can either help you find some new places because they are new to Montreal or they can show you what they already know because they are Montreal natives. Either way, you are destined to have a good time when you come to this event. This is just the gateway into something bigger. This is how you make the most of your time. You can come for the festival, but you must stay for all the other things that Montreal has to over.

My Journey into the Dark – Muzique

I first heard about Muzique on TV.

It was a special on the Travel channel about the Top 10 Hotspots After Dark or something to that effect. If you get Travel or Discovery through www.cabletelevision.net, then you might know what I’m talking about.

For those that don’t, it was basically a countdown of the best nightclubs all over the world and, would you believe it, Muzique of Montreal made the top of the list?

As the owner of a site devoted to the nightlife, I just had to check it out and here’s what I found:

“Atmosphere.”

I realize that might not say much to the uninitiated, but anyone who frequents the nightclubs knows what I’m talking about. There’s an atmosphere to Muzique that almost drags you in. It’s like a ghostly hand that reaches into your body and pulls you inside.

The venue is remarkably immaculate despite how many people are attending at any given hour and the staff is both professional and capable. It’s sophistication and fun at its finest and the view isn’t half bad either.

If you are ever in Montreal and you’re looking for a place to unwind, Muzique is where it’s at. Great company, great drinks and you never know which hot DJ will be guesting.

Four Days of Fun: Just for Laughs Comedy Festival

From its debut in 1983, Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival has grown from a 2-day to a 4-day event attracting audiences from all across Canada, the USA, and around the world. Taking place each July, while the physical location never changes, the acts always do. Perhaps one of the main drawing cards is having both French and American-speaking performers participating with non-speaking performances occurring randomly throughout the festival.

According to many sources, talent scouts, directors, producers, booking agents, others associated with the entertainment industry are known to quietly, but frequently attend the festival. This comedy festival has been and [...]
